- As a place for interdisciplinary exchanges, le RARE intends to be a place where different artistic experiences interlace : plastic arts and visual arts, dance and choreography, video and performance, music and singing, theatre and cinema, literature and poetry, architecture and town planning, design and media...
- As a field of research and experimentation, le RARE offers itself as a territory where different theories about art meet, a laboratory for experimentation and reflection, for debates and clashes of opinions, about modes of production, spreading and of perception of the artistic activity.
- As a production and spreading network, le RARE gets on with helping artists and those who reflect on how to carry out their projects and how to make their works meet a large audience, by conceiving and developping efficient activities (exhibitions, meetings, events, seminars, debates, editions...) in partnership with different institutional facilities, national and private organizations, and networks of production and cultural spreading on a world scale.
- As a dynamic place of conciliation and share, le RARE thinks it is a place where strong bonds of creativity and interchange can be woven, a fertile field based on an actual exchange of knowledge and a sharing of experience and pleasure.
